Our wool comes from our farm partner who is not only growing and processing all the wool on-site but also actively working to heal the land they use. Through regenerative and restorative processes the land is becoming better each day.
Regenerative Wool
Our fallen lumber is locally sourced and processed wood that comes from fallen trees within Baltimore that often would be sent to a landfill.

Our furniture is 100% bio-based, from frames to glues to cushion fill. We develop in-house and partner with visionary material companies to provide the innovation, comfort, and options that are demanded for a plastic-free future.

We strive to make our products' impact so low that they become carbon neutral without needing carbon credits. The carbon stored within our products and our regenerative supply chain achieve this naturally.

Designed for the Bio-Region
We prioritize sourcing as close to home as possible, within 200 miles of our assembly site. Our suppliers work to regenerate the land they source from, creating pockets of environmental healing within our bioregion.
Transparency
We maintain close relationships with our supply chain partners, allowing us to track the lifecycle of our products down to the details. We can tell you the sheep’s name that your wool came from or the location where the tree fell for your lumber.
Durable and Biodegradable
Our furniture is designed to be sturdy, stable, and long-lasting. However, lasting a lifetime shouldn't mean it needs to last the Earth’s lifetime. Our products will biodegrade and return to the environment.

Co-founders, Justin Beitzel & Fernando Ramirez combine regenerative agriculture and local community based efforts along with their experience as industrial designers to push forward a new approach to furniture design. OkaTerra started as an exploration that asked “Can the future of furniture be regenerative?” Since then they’ve reimagined a supply chain that gives back more than it takes. For people and planet.
